Which Execution Method Should I Pick — VPS, QuantLynk, or NinjaTrader?

Short answer

  • Need undetectable trading for prop firms? → VPS

  • Want the simplest, most flexible setup? → QuantLynk

  • Want maximum precision and broker control? → NinjaTrader

What are my options?

You can run QuantVue strategies in three ways. All strategies are available with any option, and you can mix or switch methods at any time.

Option 1: VPS (Virtual Private Server)

Best if you must remain undetectable for prop firms.

  • Undetectable execution

  • One strategy per account

  • Tradovate accounts only

  • Requires TradingView Premium

  • Requires a VPS (~120 USD/month)

Choose this if: Prop firm rules require stealth execution.
Otherwise: QuantLynk is usually the better choice.

Option 2: QuantLynk

Best for most users.

  • Runs directly inside the QuantVue dashboard

  • No server or VPS required

  • Multiple accounts supported

  • Tradovate and ProjectX-based accounts

  • Requires TradingView Premium

  • Cost: 99 USD/month

Choose this if: You want flexibility, simplicity, and minimal setup.

Option 3: NinjaTrader (NT)

Best for advanced users who want maximum precision.

  • Higher execution precision than TradingView

  • No TradingView required

  • Supports Qzeus and Qkronos EVO

  • Connects to many brokers (directly or via QuantLynk)

  • Requires a Windows machine

Choose this if: You want fine-grained control and native platform execution.

Can I change later?

Yes. You can:

  • Switch methods at any time

  • Use multiple methods in parallel

  • Add another execution path as your needs evolve

Bottom line

  • Most users: QuantLynk

  • Prop firm stealth required: VPS

  • Precision-focused, Windows-based trading: NinjaTrader
